Finally...
(purple the colour of the wild crocus)
With the mercury rising into the PLUS zone the icicles are growing on the cabin eaves.
This one is 56 inches already with no sign of shrinking !
...
In another 5 weeks,
we might even see our first wild Crocus,
that is, if the snow ever melts.
...
Remember, last June,
we had a fresh foot of the
white & not so fluffy stuff
fall on us!

But this isn't the time to remember such things,
thinking of Spring is far more pleasant

Hi Marilyn!
All is well!!
I've been a bit over run with the return to full time work & our internet connection failed for the past few weeks too! With the thawing of the ground, the cabin settled JUST enough for the dish to lose its line of site with the satelite! ALl is fixed except for the fact that I have to work 5 days a week for the rest of summer...
We missed you!
Hope to see you soon in the Yukon!
Hugs,
Elis
