Christmas in October...

It's like Christmas in October...
Way back in the beginning of Mummy-Hood...
... two fabulous women worked together to create 4 beautiful sweaters for Adelaide & Sarah. I could never thank them enough for their generosity. Shaaron & Betty are dear dear Friends. Have been for a long time. Shaaron (my life long neighbour) was the one who (I'm sure) came up with the idea & Betty who did the handy work...Now, every time the girls wear their sweaters out (which happens to be every time we go outside) , people ask "Where did the little sweaters come from?" & "Who knit those beautiful little sweaters for the girls?"...and so I give credit where credit is due!

(This is a photo of the girls in one of the original sets of sweaters...)

Well MUCH to our surprise, the mail man produced a fair sized box yesterday!! Grandee had not sent it, Nor had Aunt Maureen...we were not expecting a parcel... Then I read the return address...."Betty"

Ahhh...Dear Betty...I'm left to believe that my children are THAT beautiful and that you are THAT kind...
I lovingly unwrapped the contents...

You are a woman with brilliantly talented hands, a generous heart & a kind soul.

.......................................................................................

These are my "just because shots" which really indicates that I need to get out more, don't you think??

But then again...

my children are always worth posting...according to me (Mummy)!

Miss Adelaide dressed as a duck...You should see her with the hoody up...it has the waddle & the beaty little eyes!
hummm I'm sure I'll pay for that one day but for now she has NO means of self defence!

Miss Sarah Grace showing off her pearly whites on the bottom rack...but trust me...she's got TOP teeth too...OUCH!

The family wall

This really is turning into a "home" !!

Guess who?? ;-)

Hay Mum...I was a cute kid !!
